I was given the task of developing a search feature for a music player (Desktop Focused). However, I believed that creating the entire player was necessary to provide context for building the feature effectively. My goal was to design a player with a search feature that prioritised music discovery above all else.

Objective:
Create a centralised search tool for a music streaming desktop web app, focusing on the user experience and interface design.

Must Haves:
- The search tool will be integrated into the web browser
- The tool should be implemented as an overlay modal, positioned on top of the application
Considerations:
- Search, filtering and sorting examples: song length, music type, playlists, collaborations, published media (CDs, vinyl, available in shops, etc.) and any additional content you would find relevant
- User-Friendly Design: Prioritise an intuitive and user-friendly design that ensures ease of use and application flexibility
- Explore possibilities for enhancing the user experience through thoughtful design and feature incorporation
